October 7, 2018 by Ally Leave a Comment

In order to increase your bank balance, continue reading to discover a few monthly money saving tips, which you may not have considered using.

Monthly Money Saving Tips:

1. Shop around for the best power deal

Instead of paying your power bill each month without questioning whether or not you’re being offered a competitive deal, it’s well worth investing a little time and energy into reaching out to each power company who operates in your area, for quotes. As you may well find that you’re able to save over $100 on your power bill each month, by switching your power provider to the cheapest power provider that operates in your city.

2. Also, ensure that the smartphone provider which you’ve chosen offers the most competitive smartphone plans on the market

Another sizeable expense which you have to budget for monthly is your smartphone bill. So it’s also worth visiting numerous telecommunications companies’ websites in order to compare each plan available. In some cases, you may even find that it’s well worth sticking with your current provider but simply switching the smartphone plan which you’ve signed up for.

As an example, if you currently pay for a smartphone plane that offers unlimited data, that you never use, you may want to switch plans for a significantly cheaper smartphone plan which offers less data. As there’s no point paying for a service which you don’t use and won’t get your money’s worth out of.

3. Consider switching your current internet provider

It’s also well worth shopping around to ensure that you’re current wireless internet plan is competitively priced. As the prices which different internet providers can charge for the same services can vary grateful. So it’s a wise idea to spend some time investigating each internet provider’s website to view their price plans. As you may well be able to save over $50 per month from your budget by simply switching your internet provider.

4. Get rid of your cable or satellite TV subscription

Most cable and satellite TV subscriptions are grossly overpriced. Especially as you can sign up to Netflix for around $10.99 and you can sign up for an Amazon Prime subscription for just $2.99 per month as part of an introductory trial. So if you’re paying upwards of $100 for cable or satellite TV it’s well worth canceling your subscription in favor of streaming programs and movies from a streaming service such as Amazon Prime, Hulu or Netflix.

5. Consider switching the brands of food products which you purchase

Another way to save money each month is to forgo purchasing well-known premium brands of food in favor of purchasing less expensive brands. As an example may grocery stores offer their own budget lines which offer high-quality products which won’t put a dent in your bank balance.

6. Limit takeaway meals to once a week

Instead of ordering in several times a week, treat yourself to a meal from your favorite takeaway restaurant to once per week. In order to save hundreds of dollars per month.

If you use the money-saving tips listed above in order to decrease your monthly spending you should be able to save yourself several hundred dollars per month.
