I'm writing this on Sunday, August 7th. This blog comes up for renewal in August, and blogger is not making it easy. I won't bore you with the details, but I'm having a hard time finding the place to renew. Blogger changed things and added several new layers of aggravation. Handy Man looked it over, we still can't figure it out. I've sent a question to their help (eyeroll), and will be asking on the message boards.
I've already gotten an email saying this blog is "suspended," but I can still get into it for now. I do not want this blog to lapse, I have been working on this for seven years. I've had over a million page views, published over 500 posts, and met tons of great readers and friends.
But if Handy Man, Crafty Woman does kick the bucket before I can save it, there are other places to follow me. (These are all listed on my sidebar.)
Handy Man, Crafty Woman Facebook Page. You'll have to hover over "like" and select "see first" to see all posts.
My Twitter account. Where I post some DIY things, but it's turned into an account for readers, other writers, and people who just love romance novels. All future books and other projects will be announced on Twitter.
I have several different boards in Pinterest, and some of you already follow me there. I have DIY, reading and book boards.
My romance author site, which is woefully in need of updating. Yes, I also write kissy books, which I've talked about on here under the category "writing." I'm working on three books, and they probably won't be released until 2018...which seems like it's ages away, but I'll blink and it'll be 2018.
Please note: This is NOT a grab for Facebook or Twitter followers, or a ploy to sell books. Those of you who have read this blog for a long time know that's not how roll. Remember: I have no books to sell yet and won't for a while. I'm the laziest marketer on the planet, and prefer to let readers find my social media accounts after finding this blog. I didn't want to write this post, but wanted to leave a warning where others might see it, since I don't want to lose any of you!
I've posted about my writing projects (see the sidebar), but this blog is for the blog party and DIY-related posts, and I intend to keep it that way. But I'm feeling despair at the idea of losing any readers who want to keep up with me and my projects. If you want to make sure you keep track of me, you can follow me on one of the other sites I listed, just in case.
I will update here when/if I can. Anyone else having trouble with this? I truly feel sick at the idea of losing this blog.
