Wicked Awesome Wednesday #107

Edited to add: I posted this MONDAY night instead of Tuesday night.  Whoops. I was attempting to stay organized this week.  On Friday, I'm leaving for the writer's conference that I mentioned in this post. Trying to get everything ready, laundry caught up, etc.  I thought I'd work on WAW early, which was good.  But then I put it up early. Oh well, enjoy!

It's time for Wicked Awesome Wednesday #107.

Hooray for tutorials! You ladies make some of the best tutorials. I get so impatient with all the time it takes to create a good tutorial post: All the photos, writing, photos, writing, photos, writing, writing, writing.

Ok, I love write, but I lose patience when I try to explain the steps I used for a DIY or craft project.  Cheers to all you bloggers who have the patience to teach us!

Barbara from DIY Home Staging showed us how to paint a garage door.

Lauren from The Thinking Closet made over a  vintage purse.

Heather from Our Life in a Click showed us how to plan a staircase gallery wall.

Christine from Let's Get Crafty made a musical stand lamp.

Alese from 2 Crafty 4 My Skirt showed us how to make a pallet clock.

Loriel from Healthy Roots, Happy Soul made her own lotion bars.

Alicia from A Syncopated Home made her own water color invitations.

Thanks so much for the feature! All these featured tutorials are excellent.

I'm also one who appreciates a good tutorial. The best ones make the project not only look easy, but ARE easy, yet give great results. The writing and photos have to be complete and clear, but not redundant. Tall order.

Thanks for hosting another WAW.

Thank you for hosting! So happy to see my lotion bars were featured! :)

Plantain salve is good for treating a bee sting, diaper rash and even a burn/cut from shaving. SO cool!

It's sounds all exotic and everything but it's SO easy to make!

Learn how to make it here --> http://www.healthyrootshappysoul.com/2013/04/toxic-free-diy-mini-series-plantain.html
