Basement Shelves

Handy Man found a project to do in the basement over the weekend.  He took down some of the old, crappy metal shelves we used to have, and  set up new shelves.  I don't have pictures of the old shelves.  Believe me, they were awful!

New shelves.  Nice and sturdy.
What IS all this stuff?!

This brand is called Real Organized, here's a picture of the box.  Handy Man bought this at Lowe's.  They were on sale on Black Friday for $50.  They usually cost around $80.

I don't know this for sure, but if you need shelves, you might want to wait for the new year.  Stores put a lot of organizational tools and shelves on sale around January first.

We need to spread out the purchase of these shelves, but it will give Handy Man and Handy Boy something to do in the basement when it's cold outside.

How about you? Do you have any organizing projects you need to work on?

Can I say that I am drooling, simply drooling at all of the tools! Wow!

That aside--YES! I am constantly organizing and decluttering my 400 sq ft of 5th wheel! It really needs some attention right now...wanna come and help? :)

I used to have shelves like those and found that depending on your space you can roll them into a small space two or three wide and pull them in and out to get to items. Works great! Got mine at Sam's Club and they now have a home in my brother and sil's greenhouse.

Nice shelves for sure. My organization project involves an entire room...it might not get done for awhile :)

I thought my husband had a lot of power tools, but your hubby has him beat..nice wire shelves..Might have to check that out for his tools..

A craft woman would have those tool cases labeled for her man! LOL! I just made labels for one of his Sears tool cabinets..but we are waiting till warmer weather to finish a lot of projects in that garage. The only power tool I think he doesn't have is a band saw..Might have to look for some of those shelves.. Nice! They look very sturdy..and they would have to be to hold all those power tools!
