Thanks Laurie, for having me as a guest of your wonderful blog!  So happy to be here.

Hi, I'm Tammy from Type A Decorating, so nice to meet you!  If you're friends of Laurie's you must be pretty awesome, 'cause she is!

Okay, so a little about me.  I've been blogging for over a year, and I'm totally addicted to it!  I'm pretty over caffeinated and hyper on a slow day.  I love being crafty and decorating, and of course my family.  My blog is a lot of everything.

My son's room.  He's all about Star Wars, and I was all about giving it to him.  I really love how his room turned out, but I couldn't have done it with out the fine people of Etsy.  I'm addicted to Etsy!
My daughter's 4th Birthday.  This year she was Daphne from Scooby Doo, and again I had the fine folks over at Etsy help me out.  This birthday was actually low key compared to last year's!

Christmas decorations.  Last year I decided to start from scratch!  Yep, crazy.  It was a lot of fun, and I made everything, except for the tree.  ;)

I've also been known to refinish some furniture.

So that's me!  Mostly.  I love to hunt for the perfect piece, I'm thrifty when I can be, and decorating is my thing.  The rest of the time I clean and organize to much and play with me kids.  My kids keep me young.

Thanks again Laurie, so nice to meet your friends!

Tammy, your furniture projects are very impressive. They look professionally done. But what is that last item? I'm stumped. Tell me I'm not stupid.

I love the idea of starting from scratch for Christmas decorating. Just once, I'd like to try this idea. Did you miss not seeing any of your usual items on display?
