I Want a Skee Ball Lane in My House

Do you know what skee ball is?  Have you ever played it?  This summer, we've played some skee ball.  I love it.  We played at Canobie Lake Park.
Click this link on skeeball.com to read about the history of skee ball.  Did you know that skee ball was invented in 1909?  We grew up playing skee ball at the beach.  It used to cost a quarter when I was a kid.  (Yes, I'm old.)

This game is so much fun.  I could play for hours.  Handy Man likes it, too, but he would like to buy a pool table instead.  (What is it with men and pool tables?!)

Handy Boy says that he would like an arcade game in the house.

We'd have to win the lottery first to afford a skee ball lane.  Handy Man is working on that.

Have you ever wished you had a "fantasy" item in your home?  Maybe one that is too expensive, too impractical, or too large?  How about a skee ball lane?  A bowling lane?  A pool table?  What about an indoor pool?  (Yes, please!)

I could totally get behind having a skee ball lane in my house. I use to love playing it for a quarter as well.

I want one! I would also love an original PacMan game. How fun would that be?

That does look addicting. Glad you're having a fun summer.

I want a lap pool in my house. I would surround it with potted tropical plants, and swim every day, pretending I was on my own Caribbean island.

What? It could happen!

I'd love a skee ball lane in my house too! The other fantasy item my husband and I would like is a Japanese-style bath house complete with steam room and heated tile benches.

But we do already have an arcade game in our house. My handy husband built it using old computer parts, wood, and some specialty parts he ordered online. The nice thing about the system is that it can play multiple games and not just one. It's always popular when we have game night parties!

We wanted a pinball machine and when we were young we went out and got it. I am so glad, because after kids we could never justify that kind of expense. I'm with you on skeeball, although if you could fit pool and skeeball you'd have some kind of awesome arcade.
