Wicked Awesome Links

I have to tell you all something today:
I'm having a very hard time keeping up with blogging this summer.

Yes, the boy has day camp for a few weeks, so you'd think I'd have enough time.  But our summer has been packed with so many activities, I feel like I'm hardly home!  Go, go, go.  I just love summer activities and I want to do as much as I can before the crummy, LONG New England winter hits.  Anyone else feeling like this?

I still managed to find some really fun links this week that you should check out:

  • Mary Kathryn at Mathews Family Happenings made decorations for a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed birthday party.  I just love The Very Hungry Caterpillar, it's one of my favorite children's books!  She even made a special dress for her daughter just for the party.
  • Have you ever thought about going to an auction, but felt unsure about what to do?  Laura from the blog Finding Home has written a great post called: 10 steps to Attending An Auction. Laura's post will help you figure out how to preview items, how to bid, and how to pick up your treasures at the end of the auction.
  • For those who like photography and scrapbooking, have you ever read The Daily Digi?  If you've ever wanted to make a photo book, but were unsure of which company to use, take a look at Photobook Reviews: 12 Different Companies Compared. This is a detailed review of the pricing and quality of photo books from 12 different companies.
  • Jena from Involving Color wrote a great post called 10 thoughts on DIY.  She looks back on the renovations that she and her husband have done on their home.  Jena also has paint, room and furniture galleries on her blog for lots of inspiration.
Hope you're having a great Sunday!  It's been kind of quiet in blog-land, so I think lots of you are out having fun in the summer sun as well.
