Fun with Contact Paper

Back in August, I did a post about decluttering under the sink in our first floor bathroom.

We recently bought some Contact Paper.  I wanted to put it under this bathroom sink to make the surface easier to cleanHandy Boy uses this bathroom, and he can be a slob.

We bought this paper at Target.  It was very easy to install.  We haven't used Contact Paper in a long time.  I had almost forgotten about it!

Handy Man peeled off the paper, pressed it down, then used a plastic scraper to smooth out the bubbles.

Ahhh! That looks so much better!  It doesn't matter what it looks like, but it just makes the toothpaste splatters easier to wipe up.

Beautiful pattern and color. Contact paper has come a long way from the days of marbelized forest green design. I like to use the opaque patterned ones in a bathroom window.

Funny, I was just looking at contact paper the other day contemplating some crafts I could use it for. I too haven't used it forever but really like this cabinet you did!

I'm always in favor of something that makes cleaning up easier. And if it's attractive, so much the better.

I should get some for under all my sinks. And I *heart* Target!

Makes it look bright and cheery down there. That part I love. So much easier to see what is there. Looks great!

Oooh I cringed when I read the title. We just moved into a house with contact paper in all the cupboards. And it's like 1994 called and wants their pink roses back! LOL.

This paper is beautiful! You've restored my confidence in contact paper! I'd love to have you share this at my VIP party today @ http://designergarden.blogspot.com/2011/03/vip-party-7.html
