Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? And so naughty?
I'd been noticing that some of our furniture is a bit dinged up from wear and tear. We had been trying to figure out the easiest way to fix the dings, without too much work. I found this idea on a blog (I forget which one, sorry!).
Furniture pens!
We went to Lowe's and bought some Homax Wood Stain Marker Pens. They were about $5 each.

Handy Man took the pens, and just colored in the dings. After a few minutes, he took a rag and rubbed each spot to help it blend in. It came out great!
Do you have some furniture dings you need to touch up?

Whenever i visit my mom, I don't think I've seen a day she doesn't use those things. She loves them. She's a perfectionist and wear and tear does not sit well with her.
I used one but I didn't blend it in like you did and it totally looks like I highlighted it with brown pen! Ugh, now I will sand it and try again. Thanks for posting!
What a great idea! Following back from Mommy's Peanut Gallery :)
that stuff worked awesome, i need some in black! great post. thanks for sharing this at my party.
CB, don't know if you'll come back to see this, but: you can mix the pen colors together to get an "in-between" color.
We were both thinking the same things lol!! I just picked up those markers at our dollar store to fill in a chip on the top of my console table. I haven't used mine yet, but you sure made it look easy, and the finsihed products is great!! I found you through the Thrilling Thursdays link up!! Your newest follower

This is a great way to fix those annoying little furniture dings. I have a couple the movers put in my chair that I'll look for this to use.
Thanks for the great tip!

We have pens kind of like that to touch up scratches on our hardwood floors. Great idea. Thanks for joining WUW.
Those lil pens are lifesavers, but now my boys have destroyed my microfiber couches and seat cushions...SIGH...
Thanks for linking up to Creative Juice Thursday! Hope you can make it back this week {party opens wed. night @ 8pm CST}
Aren't those the best! I love 'em. Hubs and I just spent last night touching up dings all over our walls! It took FOREVER to cover them all up! Ha!
What is flowing in those pens, liquid magic?? LOL!! Thank you for linking up to my K.I.S.S. blog bash last week. This weeks blog bash is in full swing again!! If you haven't already please be sure & link up more of your creativity, I look forward to seeing all your great ideas. :)
