Christmas Dish Tablescape

I decided to take out our Christmas dishes and play around with a table setting. I've talked about our Christmas dishes before. It was fun to set this up.

This is a dish set purchased in the '90s at a Bradlees department store. Anyone remember Bradlees?

Here's a nice close-up of the pattern. I love the gold band around the edge of the plates and cups.

Do you have any Christmas dishes? Do you use them in December, or just for a Christmas meal? We use these plates during the whole month of December.

They are very pretty and look so nice with the plaid on the table. I would love to find dishes like these.

Yes, I have Christmas dishes. I use the Spode "Christmas Tree" dishes in the kitchen and breakfast table area, and Lenox "Holiday" for the dining room. I also use them throughout the holiday season for family and friends.
I just posted my tablescape using the Holiday china.
Merry Christmas to your and yours,

I do remember Bradlees! I like how you put the linen over the dinner plate, under the salad plate. Here's what I did this year: http://enjoylifeandlove.blogspot.com/2010/12/holiday-table.html

My first set of Christmas dishes were porcelain and came from Ames (another store like Bradlee's that is long gone!) I had service for eight with every serving piece. About 25 years ago, my father started giving "the girls" a serving piece of Pfaltzgraff "American Heritage Christmas" every year. I started collecting the rest of the dishes and finally have service for 16 now that Pfaltzgraff has discontinued it! I am on the hunt now for snowman dishes of some sort to use from New Years through the winter.

I sure do remember Bradlees! I have some Christmas decorations that I purchased from one of their stores many moons ago. I don't have specific dishes for any one holiday, though. I just mix up my ironstone for different occasions.

Thanks for linking to my party. I look forward to having you join me each week.

And please be sure to come by and enter my fantastic year-end giveaway. Click the picture in my sidebar for details.

Blessings and Happy New Year!
