Halloween Factoids

These facts are from the October issue of Woman's Day magazine.
  • Halloween is the second largest commercial holiday in the United States (after Christmas, of course!)
  • Pumpkins are a fruit, not a vegetable! They are a type of gourd.
  • More than 35 million pounds of candy corn are made each year.
  • 90 million pounds of chocolate are sold the week of Halloween.
  • 1.9 billion dollars are spent on Halloween candy each fall
Happy Halloween, everyone!
