Easy Decorative Tags

We just wanted to let you know that our staircase project has been featured on a really great tool/DIY blog, One Project Closer. There is a lot of great info on their site about tools, renovations, etc.

I wanted to show some cute tags that I made. I used this tag punch from Creative Memories. It’s a large punch, but it works very easily.

It also has a slot where you can put the tag, and punch a tiny hole. Fun!

The letter stickers and fall stickers are also from Creative Memories. I made these tags for our upcoming weekend scrapbook retreat. We provide “goody bags” full of fun treats, and these tags will go on the bags. I’ll have to take some pictures to show after the retreat.

Here are some other fun things you can do with tags:
  • tags for birthday gifts
  • tags for Christmas gifts (it’ll be here before you know it!)
  • place cards/tags for a holiday meal
  • tags for hostess gifts
  • cute bookmarks
  • labels for cookie exchanges
  • labeling food on a buffet
  • simple Christmas decorations for children to make

Hmmm - expensive gadget but would make tags for my wall quilts much simplier.

It IS a bit on the pricey side as far as a paper punch goes, but it's very, very sturdy. It's so easy to use; punches from scrapbook stores don't cut as well and are HARRRRD to punch with, this one works easily. Good time saver for making price tags, etc.
